Meaning of the word Dhul.
Dhul is not a word from another language; it means Huevo y leche (egg and milk). This is because the Group’s very first product was egg flan which is made of milk and eggs. The name clearly signifies the priority which Dhul places on the use of fresh and natural ingredients.
Refrigerated desserts
Our desserts and ready-to-serve dishes are fresh: the natural ingredients we use to make our products are treated in such a way as to ensure the highest high-test health & hygiene standards without losing their freshness and natural qualities. Dhul desserts and ready-to-serve dishes need to be refrigerated.
There are many desserts on the market that undergo very severe treatment during the production process which may impair the quality of the proteins and vitamins in the ingredients. These can be distinguished by the fact that they are often marked as “no refrigeration necessary; unlike Dhuls fresh products which do need to be refrigerated at a specific temperature in order to stay fresh.
It is important to understand the difference between fresh products that require refrigeration and other products which, like any other tinned food, does not need to be refrigerated.
Stages
Developing a healthy, balance and high quality diet is what Dhul strives to do with its products.
A commitment to the pleasure of a good dessert combined with the wellbeing of a nutritious and balanced diet. Our dessert contain part of the nutrients required for a healthy diet in all stages of life.
Children demand food that tastes good. Desserts are an easy and enjoyable way of supplementing children’s diets to aid in their healthy development.
Since they are milk-based desserts composed primarily of milk and in some case of egg, sugar and cocoa, among other ingredients, our products have the same nutritional value as the glass of milk they may replace and offer children a more varied and pleasant diet.
